Hut News: Danish hut design

The beautiful huts by LUMO Architects are designed for immersion in nature.  All photographs courtesy LUMO Architects.

Scattered along 19 locations on the South Fyn Archieilago in Denmark, some of these huts are reminiscent of traditional asymmetric fisherman’s structures.  Imagine staying in these on a coastal walk!

In size they range from accommodating 2 persons to 6-7. I can imagine a hut system comprised of such structures, or including one or two as architectural punctuation marks in longer series of huts. Check out the photos and article in Designboom.com, a great source of interesting design ideas.
