Ben Dodge - Treasurer and Secretary - 10th Mountain Division Hut Association
Ben is the Executive Director of Tenth Mountain Division Hut Association and lives in Aspen, Colorado with his wife and two daughters and enjoys backcountry skiing, Nordic skiing, some lift-service skiing, biking, and hiking.
Joe St. Onge - Vice President- Sun Valley Trekking
Joe and his wife Francie are owners of Sun Valley Trekking. Joe has worked as professional mountain guide for over 30 years, guiding climbing and ski expeditions throughout the contiguous United States, Alaska, Ecuador, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Nepal, Pakistan and Antarctica. Joe holds a BA in Outdoor Education and an MS in Geography. He is a professional member of the American Avalanche Association and a certified Ski Mountaineering Guide with the American Mountain Guides Association. Joe has called the wilderness of Central Idaho home for the past 25 years, where he and his wife are raising two girls, have built a system of six backcountry ski huts and continue to guide skiers on mountain adventures in Idaho and worldwide.
Mike Kautz - President - American Prairie
Mike is the Director of Public Access and Recreation for the non-profit American Prairie. He lives in Bozeman, Montana and works on American Prairie’s 450,000 acres of publicly-accessible land in northcentral Montana, including a growing hut system. He started his career in conservation by working in the Appalachian Mountain Club’s White Mountain hut system. Mike enjoys skiing, biking, hunting and exploring the West’s remote dirt roads by motorcycle.
